I still feel confused about days since the holidays. Like, this feels like it could just as easily be a Thursday instead of a Saturday. I don’t have a clue what tomorrow is-Tuesday?
But apparently it’s Saturday, which means I’m still in my pajamas at noon (oh wait-that’s everyday), still make-up-free with messy bed hair (I’m a weirdo in that I don’t usually care what I’m wearing or what my hair looks like around the house, but I don’t feel “ready for the day” until I have some make-up on), and still nursing my first cup of joe.
Saturday also means: link time!
Are you feeling uncomfortable about a few extra winter pounds? Lindsay isn’t.
Teri talks about 7 ways she increased her running speed. My favorite: getting older! Apparently, women reach their running peak between 28-38, which means I’m just entering my golden running years. (I don’t care if it’s true or not-I’m putting that one right in my back pocket.)
Carla just has a great attitude.
Have I ever told you how much I love this blog? It’s a fashion blog, but all of the pieces are super accessible/affordable (think Target, Forever 21, H&M).
Speaking of awesome blogs, here’s a great dad blog you should tell your dad friends about.
I like this list of 10 things you should do everyday. (The cynic in me is a little like, ugh…*gag* cheesy-unrealistic-motivational-stuff, but these are simple enough things that I don’t actually think it’s asking too much.)
Tina speaks candidly about how her body’s not at its leanest, but she’s cool with that.
Ok, one more cool blog. I just discovered this one via Pinterest, and it’s packed with DIY decorating genius.
Well, apparently Mason’s nixing his morning nap, so I guess I’m *not* off to the treadmill for a run as originally planned. (The running plan is also “why I haven’t gotten dressed yet,” obviously…)
I’m having one of those “I wish my kid was just a liiiiiittle older so we could go do fun things” kind of days. Like, I’d really like to take him to the library right now, but he’d probably just eat the books and then launch into a random girly-screaming-fit (it’s his thing right now) when I’m not expecting it. Or I’d love to go to the Children’s Museum, but what are we going to do there? The sidewalks are too snowy for the stroller…it’s too cold for the park…if we go to Target, I’ll just end up spending money…
Guess it’s back to pulling him away from cords and separating him from the trashcan in the bathroom.
Eyes laser-locked onto something naughty.
Any other ideas??
Have a great weekend!
